The lodge is 2000 feet above sea level. Enjoy pure mountain water
and crisp air. Designed for retreat and relaxation, the lodge enjoys
seclusion and is self-contained.The lodge is an authentic log cabin set in a tranquil environment at the base of Mt Lyford Alpine Ski Resort.Nestled in natural surroundings of manuka and grasses, the cabin
overlooks a large frog pond (De Kikker Vijver) that reflects the beauty
of the surrounding landscape.
 De Kikker Vijver has been designed to accommodate up to 13 people in the log cabin and stargazer. There are 11 beds in the lodge itself comprised of two double rooms, a bunk room (sleeps 5) and a loft
(an open mezzanine area with sofa bed).
The lodge has two bathrooms,
two toilets, a laundry and spaces to dry clothes and a fully equipped kitchen
including a large pantry and fridge / freezer that can hold food
supplies for up to a weeks stay.
The Stargazer is a unique night time 'sleeping under the stars' experience! It is set in a very secluded part of the section. The stargazer is a small building where you can lay back and enjoy a night under the stars. Great for kids or for a couple. Enjoy the feeling of being out under the stars in the double glazed fully insulated stargazer. Note: The Stargazer is offered as an additional booking to the lodge.
