An after dark adventure for all levels of skill and fitness. 

Butterfly Creek Nighttime Madness is one of the very few mountain race challenges run the dark.  Racing is undertaken in pairs on well formed tracks through native beech forest in this iconic area of the East Harbour Regional Park, Wellington.  Enjoy spectacular night time views of Wellington and the Harbour. VASQUE Nighttime Madness

15.4km with a 480m climb. Limited to 50 runners. Participants need to be experienced adventure runners.

SILVA Butterfly Creek Nightime Madness Classic

7.7km for walkers and 9.75km for runners with a 295m climb. Achievable for all levels of fitness and experience.

MACPAC Youth Challenge

7.7km with a 295m climb. Designed for young people 11 -15 years.

MACPAC Young and the Restless Challenge

7.7km with a 295m climb. Designed for an adult and youth pair. Youths must be 7 – 15years. Adults are 18+
